Yachting reflection

Monday
Something I was pleased with was the fact that I actually hopped in the Yacht unlike last year how as soon as I hopped in the yacht I wanted to hop out straight away.  Something I did to improve was hop in the yacht, go out for a ride and not cry while I was out there because last year once I hopped in the yacht I started crying because I hated it.  I thought that optimist yachting was scary because every so often you felt like the yacht was gonna capsize but It didn't happen for me.  Something I need to improve is going in the Yacht more than once.

Tuesday

My plan for today was to go in the Yacht three times instead of going in the yacht only once.  Something I was pleased with was going in the Yacht three times with Chris, Charlotte and Ashlee in room 19 instead of going in it once.  Something I did to improve was go in the Yacht three times because yesterday I only went in it once.  Something I need to improve is to try take a couple of longer ride in the Yacht instead of going for lots of short rides.

Wednesday

Sadly today we didn't go today but that was because some of us had to go to a choir rehearsal at Mahora school.

Thursday

My plan for today was to go for a long ride in the Optimist Yacht instead of going for short rides.  Something I was pleased with was how I went in the Optimist Yacht for almost the whole time we were  there and after Yachting I went in a Kayak in between all Yachts like the parents and teachers get to do.  Something I did to improve was go for a really long ride in the Yacht instead of a really tiny short ride.  Something I need to improve is remembering to tighten the main sheet rope when I am told to go faster.

What a catastrophe

“Ok, we are here at the guinea pig sailing champs I am your host Chocolate and my favourite part of the boat is starboard,I just thought that you wanted to know.  We are about to start the race in three two one ok there are only two competitors in this race and they were  off in a flash.  In first place so far in first place is Gingey our sailor who has the trophy at the moment and right behind her is her challenger Pipsqueak.  We are almost at the end of this race and so far Pipsqueak is winning but can she stay in first place and win this race.  Here is the exciting bit the races have to make a right to win this race or in other words they have to turn towards the starboard side of their boat.  Oh no Gingey’s boat has gone down the waterfall.  What a catastrophe?Pipsqueak is the new champion.”

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Guinea pigs make great pets if you don’t have one I suggest that you should get one because once you get one you will never want to part with it.  I know a lot about guinea pigs because I have nine of them.  I love my Guinea pigs a lot,I would never ever part with my ones especially my favourite one called Pipsqueak.

I know that they take a lot of work to take care of but once you get the hang of it it will be easy.  I like guinea pigs so much because they are really friendly and cute.

Sometimes if you put two male guinea pigs together they will fight each other.  At the start of a male guinea pigs fight they won’t be rough and nasty they will just be climbing over each other and pushing each other around but after awhile of them fighting they will start to get very nasty.  They they will start to make bite marks in the other guinea pig’s ear, scratch the other guinea pig so that it bleeds and sometimes they will scratch the other guinea pig’s body so much that the other guinea pig’s fur will start to come off in the fight.

When a guinea pig has babies it will get very protective of them and they will start fighting anyone who comes near them so you should move them to a separate cage.  They will only be protective while the babies are young.

Guinea pig’s like to eat carrots, lettuce, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, tomatoes, apples, bananas, rabbit pellets, grass, oranges, chaff, bread, hay and much much more.  There are some foods that guinea pigs can’t eat like onions, pumpkin, beetroot and potatoes.

You can only give guinea pigs a bath when they are 3 months or older.  You should only give them a bath in the summer.  The reason why you should give them a bath in the summer is because if you give them a bath in the winter as soon as you take them out of the water they will get really cold and they could get really sick.

Guinea pigs can come in all different colors.  Some guinea pigs are black and some guinea pigs are white.  They can also be brown and ginger.  Guinea pigs sometimes can multi colored.  They can be black and white, black and brown, white and ginger, white, black and brown, white and brown.

Those are just some of the facts about guinea pigs if you want more facts you should go to your local library and get a book out about guinea pigs.
