The wolf in the Wardrobe

Recently my class read the book The wolf in the Wardrobe.  This book is about a boy named Finn who finds an injured wolf but he doesn't want his Mum finding out so he hides The wolf in his Wardrobe.  He decides to name the wolf Lupa.  He thinks that he could hide the wolf forever and nobody would notice but what he doesn't know is that cackles the clown is watching him.

I would say that this book should be rated 4 stars.

If you like books with mysteries then this could be the book for you and if you also like action stories with awesome adventures in it then this is definitely the book for you.

This book has been written by Susan Brocker a person who absolutely loves animals.She has also written saving Sam a story of a boy and a dog,Brave Bess and the ANZAC Horses is a true story of an amazing horse also Dreams of warriors is a World War Two tale about a teenage girl and an unusual friendship.

Glow worms are amazing creatures that look like worms and have the ability to glow that is where they get there name glow worms from.Non of the worlds glow worms are actually true worms

To find a glow worm you would have to usually have to look in dark damp caves,tunnels,river banks and in old coal mines sometimes they will be under houses.

Glow worms usually snack on small midges and all sorts of flying insects that get stuck in there sticky webs,including mayflies,caddisflies and even moths.

Glow worms look a little like worms but they are not actually true worms.The glow worms body shines a shiny bright light that lights up their entire habitat.

After reading this I think that now you know all you need to know about glow worms.

“Really? I knew I was special,”

“No, not weka,willie,we're studying WETA.’’

’’silly insects! how ridiculous.You should be studying me.”

“I know you’re special,wille,”

“But weta are really amazing too”

“do you know they are just like their ancestors who lived 190 million years ago?”

“I don’t believe it”

“how can you know that?”

“people have found weta sandwiched in rocks.They’re called fossils.”

“squashed in a rock 190 million years ago?you're pulling my feathers!”

“it wasn’t rock when the weta got stuck in it,it was mud,and now it’s been squashed into a rock. I know it sounds funny but it’s true,Willie.Scientists have ways of telling the age of rocks,the

oldest at the bottom and the youngest at the top.but I want to find a real live weta.will you help me?”

“me? No I mean there’s not many around they’re really hard to find,”
